I don't have a post in mind so you get some randomness today. Things on my mind-
-We have a double date with some awesome friends tomorrow night and I am so excited for some amazing food, conversation, and the fact that I will be wearing my new leather pants that Carly at ThirtySomethingFashion helped me to get :) They just might be my "What I Wore" for next Wednesday.
-We have some out of towners coming back to look at our house next weekend for a second showing and I am trying not to get too excited. It's been like 6 months since we put it on the market. And though showings are literally just starting to pick up as we head into Spring, it has been a long and depressing winter. That house provided us with 6 great years and memories and yet we find ourselves resenting every square inch of it right now. Thank GOD we are so head over heels for our new house that we would never regret our decision to move. Seriously, we have never been happier. And at least once a week one of us says to the other "I'm so glad to be here, I love this place so much." DG just said it to me this morning.
-Speaking of the new house, DG just said to me a couple days ago that he can't wait for warmer weather so we can sit out back and drink coffee in the mornings while the kids run around and play. Now I am completely ready for Spring/Summer because this vision sounds Heavenly.
-I bought this the other day and it is everything I hoped it would be
- The kids just got into Legos and it has been a great activity for us all to do. J is obsessed with building a Lego house/town and E got these cupcake/cake Legos that are so cute. We all have a blast with it!
-I bought the Tot Clock when the kids were really young. E stopped napping just about forever ago and I thought it would help in just keeping her happy at "rest" time. However, she was too young to get it and it sat in a closet for a year+. Now that they are in beds, it is wonderful for the mornings. Here it is if you are unfamiliar.
-We are going down to the city next weekend for 2 nights away. It is a trial for the new babysitter to see if she wants to do it for a week when we go on vacation...Let's be honest, it's also a getaway for Mom and Dad to regain strength so we can continue the daily grind!
-I donated some gift baskets of spa goodies to a local charity benefit for Sunday. It is a great organization--CASA {Court Appointed Special Advocates--advocates for abused and neglected children}. The benefit is their "Hearts and Heels" event--love the name :)
Have a great weekend!!!

I'm a CASA!!!! I love it. I feel so empowered for representing the kids best interest in court and investigating all the facts and presenting them before the judge. Thank you for supporting this WONDERFUL non-profit!!!
